Hello. Hello, hello. Hi. We’re here now. There we go. Is that better?
Hopefully the sound quality got a little better right there.
All right. Welcome, everybody. This is the Master Plan Collective Orientation Call. Today we’re going to walk you through the details of the app and answer the most frequently asked questions. We’re going to talk about book club. We’re going to talk about accountability and support. And we’ll leave time at the end for Q&A.
We’re budgeting about 40 minutes for this, but if we need a little longer, we’ve got time. The whole point of this session is to make everything feel easy. You shouldn’t leave today confused. I want it to feel effortless to find what you need, when you need it. If something doesn’t make sense, hang onto your question and we’ll cover it in the Q&A at the end.
If you’re new to us, I’m Jake. Some of you know me, some of you don’t. I’ve been with the company for a few years, and I’m the behind-the-scenes support. On Skool, you can send me a DM any time. I’m happy to help.
Alright—let’s start with a tour of the app.
Skool App Tour
Whether you’re using Skool on desktop or on your phone, the layout is basically the same. We’re going to walk through each tab so you know exactly where everything lives.
Community Tab
The Community tab is the heart of everything we do. This is where the conversations happen. This is where I want you posting questions, updates, and wins.
This community exists on purpose. It’s hard as an ambitious woman to find a real space with other ambitious women—people you can vent to, people who will celebrate wins with you, and people who actually get it. That’s what this is for.
Post what you need to post. If you had a rough day and you just want to vent, do it. If you had a huge win and you want to share it, do it. There are very few rules here on purpose. I want this to feel like your space.
You’ll also see announcements here—things like Book Club updates, engagement threads, reminders, and event notes. I recommend checking in a few times a week. The more you engage, the more connected and accountable you’ll feel.
And we will be active in here too. We’ll respond, interact, and support you. If we don’t get to your post right away, another member probably will—that’s the whole point of a real community.
You’ll also notice many members in here are advanced planners. There is a lot of wisdom in this group. Lean on it.
Classroom Tab
Next is the Classroom tab. This is where all of your education lives.
Inside the Classroom tab, you’ll find:
Modules
Worksheets
Bonus resources
Book Club Corner
Replays (where appropriate)
Everything inside each module is designed to be self-paced and organized so you can come in, get what you need, and move through it at your speed.
Eventually, you’ll see a full library of content in here—lots of modules you can jump around in as needed. The goal is simple: on-demand support, whenever you have the time.
Calendar Tab
The Calendar tab is where you’ll find all live events and workshops.
Each event will list:
Date
Time
Join link
If you can’t attend live, everything is recorded and uploaded into the Classroom tab in the most logical place so you can find it later.
Check the calendar regularly. Lives, special sessions, Planathon—everything will be posted there.
Leaderboards Tab
The leaderboard is just for fun.
The more you participate, the more points you earn. It’s friendly motivation to stay active. We’ll be adding extra content and perks tied to engagement and leveling up.
Also: if you’re a lurker, that’s okay. We like lurkers too. You’ll still get value. Participation just helps you get more out of it.
Modules and What to Expect
Modules are where your structured growth happens. You’ll find them in the Classroom tab.
Each module includes:
Videos
Worksheets
Sometimes bonus resources
They’re progressive in the sense that they build skills over time, but they also stand alone. You don’t have to watch them in order to stay active in the group.
Module One (The Reset) is already live. It also tracks your progress so you can stop on desktop and pick up on your phone later.
Here’s what’s coming up:
Module Two (Foundations) drops November 14
December has no new module because you’re getting Planathon
Module Three (Energy Fix) drops in January
Planathon
Planathon is our big annual planning event. It runs December 8–12, five days, up to one hour per day, at 2 PM Mountain Time.
Planathon is where we take goals all the way down into tasks and schedule them. You leave with a full-year plan and a ton of momentum.
If you’re an active member by December 7, Planathon is included in your membership. If someone joins after that, they’ll need to purchase it separately.
Monthly Live Calls
We go live at least once per month. Calls will usually be the last Tuesday of the month, and we’ll rotate times so different time zones can join.
The first official monthly call is November 25.
The format will be consistent so you always know what to expect:
Hot Seat coaching
Book Club Corner
Plan With Me
Q&A
Special Live: Priority Setting
There’s also a special session on November 4 at 1 PM Mountain Time where we’re going to do priority setting together and go through the priority matrix. That replay will be posted in the Classroom tab.
Hot Seat Coaching
Each month, we’ll choose up to three people for hot seat coaching during the live call.
If you have a question you want one-on-one help with—planning, productivity, efficiency, organization—submit it.
We’ll email you ahead of time if you’re selected so you’re ready.
Book Club
This quarter’s book is “Do Less” by Kate Northrup.
You’ll find:
Book details
Purchase link
Reading schedule
Weekly reflection threads
This is a quarterly book club, so we’ll read it over three months, and discuss it on monthly calls.
We’ve also invited the author to join us for the January call—fingers crossed.
Accountability Options
If you want accountability, you have a few options:
Buddy System
You can sign up for an accountability partner match. You’ll fill out a short questionnaire and we’ll match you with someone based on planning style and goals.
You can DM inside Skool, or connect outside the app—whatever works best for both of you.
If the match isn’t a fit, you can request a new one.
Community Accountability
You can also post goals directly in the Community tab and crowdsource accountability from the group.
Hot Seat
And yes—hot seat is also accountability. There’s nothing like being held accountable live.
FAQs
How much time should I spend each week?
If you want a general guideline, one to two hours per week is plenty for most people—enough to watch lessons, do worksheets, and engage a little.
What if I fall behind?
You can’t. This is self-paced on purpose. Everything is designed to flex with real life.
Where do I start?
Start with Module One. Then check out Book Club and get ready for the priority-setting call.
How is this different from the Facebook groups?
The Facebook groups are mostly product-based and brand-based.
This space is you-based: your life, your productivity, your goals, your struggles, your wins. This is personal development.
Closing Notes
This is not a space where you need to be perfect. It’s private. You’re surrounded by like-minded women. If you need to vent, vent. If you need support, ask. If you need to celebrate, celebrate.
You belong here.
We’ll be back live Tuesday, November 4, for priority setting, and then again on November 25 for the full monthly format.
Thanks for being here. We’ll see you in the community.
