The secret is FriXion's thermo-sensitive ink. Rubbing the highlighted area with the built-in eraser tip creates friction heat that makes the ink turn clear and disappear. There are no eraser shavings and no leftover dust, so your planner pages stay clean. Unlike a correction tape patch, the spot is instantly ready to highlight again.
