About Our Products

A proud reforestation partner, we participate in planting at least four trees for every one tree we use. 

About our paper, vellum, and card stock:

We use 120 gsm / 32lb Bond / 80lb text. It is archival quality, acid free paper that is made from sustainable resources. It is bright crisp white and FSC® Certified  and PEFC Certified, which means it is sourced and produced in a way that protects our forests. The company that produces our paper also plants more trees than they use which means they are aiding in the reforestation initiative as well.
Our paper is buttery smooth, with just enough texture for a little grab, which helps your pen write better. The smooth quality of our paper means you will get little (if any) ghosting and virtually no bleed-through. While other paper may say 80lb paper, not all paper is created equally and the texture/grain will cause a different result. Rougher, more textured paper will feel thicker, but cause much more bleed and our pen tests have concluded that our smooth paper wins in a pen test.

We use 216 gsm premium card stock. It is bright white and smooth. It is also FSC® Certified as well as Rainforest Alliance Certified.
Our vellum (translucent paper) is FSC® Certified, Elemental Chlorine Free, Lignin Free, Acid Free and Recyclable.

About our printing process:

We use Energy Star® certified, production quality laser printers. They are also Ecologo® and EPEAT® certified. Laser ink means that the ink on your pages won't run if it gets damp. Ever spilled your coffee on your planner?? It happens. We reliably produce images and colors that are consistent, which means the photos you see of our planner covers are exactly the colors you see when it arrives in person. Please keep in mind that screens may display colors and images differently, however we stand by our quality. All printed products are printed right here in our small workshop in Northern Arizona. We never outsource our printing which is why we are able to ship in just one business day and keep our shipping rates affordable.

About our discs:

We have our discs manufactured overseas by various suppliers. Some of our discs, like the 2 inch metal discs, are proprietary (made just for us!) and only available at JanesAgenda.com.

About our tabbed products:

We use Mylar tab lamination which means that our tabs have a layer of heat sealed plastic to protect them from wear and tear. We tab all cardstock dividers in-house. Plastic dividers are manufactured for us overseas. 

About our design process:

We design all products ourselves, some completely from scratch and some with graphics purchased by independent designers. Every product is unique to us, which means you won't find any of our exact layouts or designs anywhere else.

About our production process:

We produce all of our printed products ourselves, right here in Northern Arizona in our own workshop.

About our laminate:

Our planner covers and page finders are laminated with 10 mil high gloss lamination. This is the industry standard for laminated planner covers offered by larger companies and we are proud to offer a small business/American made alternative. Planner dashboards are laminated with 5 mil lamination.
